A nerdy family

After eleven thirty at night

The house is very quiet

But its inhabitants are far

From sleepy at that time.

Each one in its room

Is busy playing

Scrabble with friends or family

On the Internet

While trying to read

Or write or study

That is what I call

A nerdy family!

Now this explains why

When located in various places

This family stays linked

As long as modern technology

Is available, distance is of no concern.

Après vingt-trois heures trente

La maison est très calme

Mais ses habitants sont loin

D’être endormis à ce moment-là

Chacun dans sa chambre

Est en train de jouer

Scrabble avec des amis

Ou la famille sur Internet

Tout en lisant

Ou en écrivant ou en étudiant

C'est ce que j'appelle

Une famille branchée!

Maintenant, cela explique pourquoi

Lorsque situés dans des endroits différents

Cette famille reste liée

Tant que la technologie moderne

Est accessible

La distance disparait et n’est plus un problème..
