Call to arms!

This is a call to arms, poets!
We live interesting times
We are on the cusp
Of seeing everywhere traditional society
Collapse from the oblivion of individual rights
For the megaton devouring ones of
International global corporate powers.
We need poets to became militants
Against the obedient indifference
Of the oppressed people
Too busy to survive
In the starving disasters zones,
Working slaves of the emerging economies
And the divisive drive of religions
In the new and old worlds.
Poets are still free
To defend justice for humanity
For our foe has made an error
Causing us to become
Masters of the tech world
Reaching every corner
Of the known universe!
So take up your words poets
Polish your lines
See you on the web's front line !

The project

To built a poetic bridge
Between two ancient continents
Such as Australia and India are,
Apart by cultural and historical oceans
Would be a task calling to mythic poets.

In order to achieve this titanic work
We, modern poets, famous or not,
Have freely chosen
To enter this etheric world
Only armed with words and dreams.

Busily establishing new connections,
Where none existed yesterday,
In order to built the foundations
Of this rainbow of words,
Each with its own hue and creed,
Hoping that it links strongly
In the network taking place
High above the abyss of distance,
Prejudice and ignorance.

The might of words is powerful
But will it be enough without the dreams?
So to my new poetic friends
Let's be generous and
Dream large, I  say.
