In and
out the cars around the car park
Turn
clockwise and anti clockwise
Until it does
not make any sense.
All this
wild activity, where are they going?
On what
quest are their passengers
Driven to
and from?
Is it for
trade or just a social visit
That they
come regularly to feed the parking meters?
Or to
check them in order to collect the money.
It's like
a saving money box.
Guessing
where humans are bound to can
be quite fun.
Some are
with their dog trailing behind them
Or
carrying an open box with their cat inside
So it’s easy to guess they are on their way
To the
nearby Lort Smith animal hospital.
Others
carry flowers and can only go to the hospital
While
others have a pyramid of goods
To
celebrate a new born baby
It's not
difficult to point to the maternity.
Some are
pulling a full trolley behind them
From the
nearby market.
Others
are just smoking outside their office
Or
phoning their friends updating their network
Of their
most uninteresting life.
And I
look at them all from the edge of my life
Not
participating in this meaningless fury of activity.
Wondering
what is the meaning of my life
Empty
of achievable goals
Everything
is over, in the large world.
But for
me, waiting is my present.
Not being
directly in charge, just waiting, nothing more.
Everyday
the question is what
to do?
To plan
is useless. Nothingness to nothingness.
