The Tree of Life

I love my blog

Everyday it receives my poetic input

If I may say so.

Within five minutes of being published

The advertisement of the day

Changes and will accompany my posting,

Based on factors outside my control

I have to add, for twenty four hours.

So far so good, I usually agree

With the choice offered

I like to see exquisite jewellery or

Elegant gowned women enhancing

My page of the day or so I think.

Unfortunately yesterday it didn't work

As I was speaking of a shadow world

In which the only living thing was a tree

That I climbed to return to our world

You may feel my horror when I saw

Appearing an advertisement

Promoting tree removal!

Well it is true that the international saying goes

“If it grows chop it down

And if moves kill it.”

But that was not my meaning

I thought I was talking about the tree of life

For goodness sake!

So tonight we shall see what

Sort of advertisement shall be chosen

By the big software company
To accompany my scribble.

 J'aime mon blog

Tous les jours il reçoit mon entrée poétique

Si je puis m'exprimer ainsi.

Dans les cinq minutes après avoir été publié

L'annonce de la journée apparait

Et accompagnera ma page journalière

Sur la base de facteurs en dehors de mon contrôle,

Je dois ajouter, pendant  vingt-quatre heures.

Jusqu'ici tout allait bien, j'ai généralement

Apprécié  le choix offert

J'aime à voir les bijoux exquis ou

Les portraits d’élégantes femmes

Et je pense qu’ils  améliorent ma page. 

Malheureusement hier, il y a eu comme un hic.

Dans mon poème  je parlais d'un monde des ombres

Dans lequel la seule chose vivante était un arbre

Que je grimpais pour revenir dans notre monde.

Vous pouvez ressentir mon horreur quand j'ai vu

Apparaitre une publicité promouvant l'enlèvement des arbres!

Eh bien, si il est vrai que le dicton international dise

" Si cela pousse abattons-le et si c’est vivant tuons-le. "

Il n’en reste pas moins que cela n'était pas mon idée

Car je parlais de l'arbre de vie

Nom de nom!

Alors ce soir, nous verrons ce que

Le trieur de la publicité choisira

Pour  la société des grands logiciels
Pour accompagner mon entrée.
