Prahan
market,
Do you
call this a market?
For sure
as a market square
It works
well.
It's
prettyish and clean
All the
stalls are tidy
And the
silence reigns supreme
The goods
are attractively displayed
As are
their price and stalls holders behind
Their neat
display windows
Looking like
a Coles or Woolies alleyside Show.
The
market is used as a playing ground
By young
mothers and their kids
Or should
I say that the mothers
Are
enjoying a break at the cafes
While
their kids are running wild on the
Market
square and bin equipment?
The
organic market is lovely
But so
expensive
I hope
they can justify the price
But my
main complaint
Is the
total aseptic feel of the place
A
complete lack of smells,
Of
accents and ambience,
Give me
every day the Queen Victoria Markets
And its
vocal traders shouting
Until one
can't think!
Its
medley crowds of all ages!
Its food
smells different according to the areas.
There at
Prahan there is no smell
Synonym for
plastic and toxic sterility.
Sorry my
report is Prahan could do better.
